Do you have to be a member of Lake County Church to join?

Although this group was created to support the homeschooling families of Lake Country Church, we do not restrict membership to church members.  We are just one part of the corporate Body of Christ, so we are all connected!

How much does it cost to join?

There is no fee for LCHE membership.  We are hosting a Bookfair/Craft Sale in May to raise money for LCHE.  This will ensure that we can continue offering free membership in the future.

What if I'm not homeschooling yet, but plan on doing it?

Come join us!  There is nothing more beneficial for new homeschoolers than to already have a support system in place.  We have many knowledgeable families who would love to share their experiences with you!

What if I only homeschool some of my children?

Come join us!  We believe that each parent must prayerfully consider the right educational path for each of their children.  We do not judge any family for the educational decisions they make.

Do you offer extra-curricular/academic classes?

At this time, we are primarily a fellowship group.  We do not personally offer classes, but we have many referrals for excellent programs!  We can help you get the support you need.

Are you affiliated with Lake Country Christian School?

LCCS is a private school and a ministry of our church, Lake Country Church.  We support LCCS in any way we can, and LCCS supports us in many ways, as well.  We have a great working relationship and help each other frequently.  At this time, we do not have a program of instruction offered through LCCS, although there might be some available classes for us in the fall.  We'll keep you posted!

How did the leadership team get chosen?

We volunteered!  We are homeschooling families who are passionate about our calling.  We are here to serve you.
